Samar is the recipient of the White House Fellows IMPACT Award and Vanderbilt University’s Young Alumni Professional Achievement Award. Samar served as Tennessee’s Assistant Commissioner for International Affairs and co-founded Lodestone Advisory Group. She now practices law at Bass Berry & Sims, assisting international businesses and individuals with cross-border investments. Samar is a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum; an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University School of Law; and a board member of several non-profit and educational institutions. Her work is featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, TEDx Nashville, and the Tennessean.
