Patrick Robinson is the Deputy City Manager for the  City of Sarasota Police Department. In his previous role as Deputy Chief of Police for the Sarasota Police Department, Patrick was involved in the development and implementation of the department’s community policing and outreach efforts. Patrick serves his community as a board member of First Step of Sarasota and The Academy at Glengary. Additionally, he is an advisor for Teen Court of Sarasota and Selah Freedom/Selah Way Foundation. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master’s degree in Public Safety Executive Leadership from St. Cloud State University. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police, Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s State and Local Government program, and the 37th Cornerstone Class of Leadership Florida. Patrick is an active member of the International Association of the Chiefs of Police and the International City/County Management Association. Patrick is a Fellow of the second class of the Civil Society Fellowship, a Partnership of ADL and The Aspen Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
