Evanna Hu is co-founder and CEO of Omelas, Inc., an AI/ML company that detects information operations narratives and strategies from state and non-state actors in the online information environment and has led to a foiled attack and briefs with senior level officials from 10+ countries. She is also the Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity and Disinformation at the International Republican Institute, a nonprofit that advances democracy globally, and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security where she focuses on emerging tech policy, with a specialization in AI and 5G. Evanna is chair of the board of directors of Re:Coded, a nonprofit that trains conflict-affected youth to become technology leaders. Previously, she spent more than seven years working on countering violent extremism issues in the Middle East, Africa, and Scandinavia. Evanna is a Fellow of the third class of the Civil Society Fellowship, a Partnership of ADL and The Aspen Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
