Priya Chordia is the COO of Mysterious, an innovative social media app dedicated to building community and cultivating conversation. Priya was formerly the COO and co-head of Propper Daley, a social impact agency that helps brands, nonprofits, and celebrities drive change on the most pressing issues of our time. Priya helped grow the agency from a startup to a best-in-class organization, spearheading the creation of award-winning impact strategies and campaigns, while cultivating a strong brand reputation. She founded the agency’s celebrity practice, working with high-profile clients including John Legend, Kerry Washington, Madonna, Bradley Cooper, Shawn Mendes, and Camilla Cabello. Prior to Propper Daley, Priya was a Broad Fellow in the strategy office at the Los Angeles Unified School District where she built a three-year strategic roadmap for all departments and local districts. She also led the Common Core Technology Initiative, the largest single educational technology purchase in U.S. education history. Priya previously served as an analyst with New Profit, a venture philanthropy firm, and with Abt Associates, a global consulting firm improving the quality of people’s lives. Priya also serves on the advisory board of Slack’s Next Chapter organization, which connects formerly incarcerated people to sustainable careers in tech. Priya earned her BA from Wellesley College, MBA from UCLA Anderson, and her MA in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center at the Yale School of Management. Priya is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Civil Society Fellowship, a Partnership of ADL and The Aspen Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
