Nate Wong is a partner in The Bridgespan Group where he advises social sector clients on transformative impact strategies, with a focus on equity-based, power-shifting efforts that ensure communities have the agency to influence the decisions that may affect them. In addition, Nate is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where he pioneered an open-sourced course called “Building a Social Impact Consciousness.” Nate previously worked as chief strategy and social innovation officer of the Beeck Center, an experiential incubator of emergent ideas in the social impact space housed at Georgetown University. He increased revenue fourfold in two years. Nate served as founding deputy director at the Centre for Public Impact (CPI), a not-for-profit foundation funded by The Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he cultivated Deloitte’s Social Impact consulting practice, where he managed its go-to-market strategy. Nate served as an advisor to President Obama’s signature initiative called My Brother’s Keeper which increases opportunities for boys and young men of color. Nate is a member of the board of directors of the nonprofit Charityvest and treasurer of the board of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition. He is a fellow at the Centre for Public Impact-North America and a fellow/DC ambassador for the Royal Society of Arts. Nate is a Fellow of the Civil Society Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
