Matthew Fieldman, is executive director of America Works, a nationwide initiative that coordinates the American manufacturing industry's training efforts, working across the nation's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) system to increase collaboration, efficiency, and impact. Previously, as Vice President of External Affairs for MAGNET, he launched the Ohio Manufacturing Survey; helped launch manufacturing apprenticeships for inner-city youth; and was responsible for fundraising and legislative and media relations. Matthew is the founding Board Chair of EDWINS Restaurant and Leadership Institute, Cleveland's first nonprofit restaurant and one of the country’s only social enterprises that trains formerly incarcerated individuals for culinary careers. Named “2014 Fundraiser of the Year” by Fundraising Success magazine, Matthew is also founder of Cleveland Codes, one of the nation's first nonprofit software bootcamps that prepares low-income adults for technology careers. An Orlando native, Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. He is an Ariane de Rothschild and American Council on Germany Transatlantic Fellow. Matthew is a Fellow of the Civil Society Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
